About the Kearsley Park Players

History

 

Starting in 2005 under the direction of Artistic Director Kay Kelly, the Kearsley Park Players have featured the annual Shakespeare in the Park in a beautiful, historic 57 acre park in the heart of Flint, Michigan.

 

Enthusiastic reviews and large crowds have marked 13 years of live theater featuring productions of Shakespeare, fairy tale children's theater, musicals as well as classic comedies and dramas. 

 

The 2016 season includes Shakespeare’s “Midsummer Night's Dream”, the children’s theater fairy tale “Red Riding Hood”, the Gilbert & Sullivan musical “H.M.S. Pinafore” and the historical drama "Lion in Winter."
